- Repeat the steps above for each test.
- Before or after you swab your dog(s) or collect urine, be sure to label the outside of the swabs or collection container with your dog's information. Let the swabs air dry and keep them away from all other contamination. If you are doing more than one dog, it is a good idea to use separate counter tops or desks.
What happens next?
After you mail your samples, the time can very from 2-8 weeks depending on how busy the lab is. You will get an email from PennGen with the laboratory balance and a link to your account with your balance. You will log into your account and pay. After you pay, you will instantly get another email with your dog's results attached. For DNA results, you can then use this report to submit the result to OFA to have it entered then into the OFA database should you wish. If you have any questions, please contact Mary DeLisa (divinemastiffs@gmail.com).
